Bathrooms & kitchens can be supplied & fitted by The Maintenance Man or just fitted with the customer purchasing their own. The Maintenance Man can plan both to achieve the best outcome. Kitchen worktops are mitred as standard, no nasty metal strips and granite worktops are available on request.

Barn conversions &
complete house renovations

So you want to convert the old barn into living space or maybe you are buying a complete wreck of a house? Whatever level of input you require The Maintenance Man is here to help or offer advice. The barn conversion work & renovation work can be fully project managed by The Maintenance Man ensuring deadlines are met and the satisfaction of the customer is reached. Removal of walls, installing steels, creating windows & doors openings, new concrete floors, oak beams installed, nothing is too much for The Maintenance Man.

Windows
& doors

The Maintenance Man can supply & fit new windows & doors in oak, pine, PVC or aluminium. Nearly all renovation houses require new double glazed windows & doors, whether because they are rotten or draughty, and its important to keep the character features such as glazing bars or arched frames. The Maintenance Man has full knowledge of what would work best for your property. The Maintenance Man can also replace damaged double glazed units.

Plumbing
 

Whether it be a leaky tap, split pipe or complete new plumbing installation of your home renovation, The Maintenance Man can offer full expertise in water & waste plumbing. The Maintenance Man will also carryout works to your central heating system such a radiator installation & removal, re-routing pipes etc.

Abri & log cabins
constructed

Log cabins purchased in kits can be built and then fully insulated and kitted out inside to whatever level of comfort the customer requires. Abri or pergolas can be built from a kit or from scratch using green oak. These can be fully tiled or cedar shingles whichever you prefer. Why not go the full hog and have a summer kitchen installed at the same time as you will find yourself living under your new abri.

Ceramic, porcelain, travertine or marble, The Maintenance Man can install all types of tiles to all kind of shapes. He has a good eye for detail as knows what will work best in combination colours and design.

Swimming pool
installation

The Maintenance Man can install an in ground or above ground swimming pool from start to finish .

Carpentry, woodwork
& wood flooring

Internal & external wood work, using a variety of woods to suit the purpose. Green & season oak are popular here in France along with douglas fir, of which all can be machined down to size by The Maintenance Man.

The Maintenance Man was created in 2006 on the south coast of the UK and moved to France in 2016 where he started again. Business has now grown offering a full range of services to customers whilst keeping the high levels of quality required by customers. Work has diversified to allow for the different types of work sought after by clients here in France.

By fully understanding the requirements of his customers, The Maintenance Man offers you a reliable and professional service that is tailored to providing you the best solutions at an appropriate price, with the least amount of disruption.

The Maintenance Man prides himself in providing the highest standard of work. All work is fully guaranteed – and in addition, he holds the full 10 year decennial insurance as required in France.

All work is carried out by The Maintenance Man. Qualified and approved subcontractors are only used for electrical and gas work – ensuring that, as a customer, you are not faced with project managing multiple tradesman for your jobs.

The Maintenance Man will project manage your project from start to finish, keeping the customer updated at all times.
